Kari Shuey and Angela Perry: The Beginning

Kari met Angela in a writer's support group on Facebook. She reached out to Angela, seeking a mentor in the writing world. 

Angela had a writing and editing background and welcomed the challenge. 

Over the past year, the two went from professional acquaintances to friends. When the opportunity to create the Mathias world came along, they jumped at the chance. 

With Kari's knack for human interaction, mystery, inner conflicts, outer struggles and basic character emotion, the characters come to life on the page. When Angela adds her fantasy know-how, world building,  descriptive elements, and the logic you get a story you can't put down--something that just gets under your skin and stays there. Use caution when starting the series, you might never escape.
